When the November sun has disappeared from the city streets, it rises again in the concert hall — the audience is invited to an evening of beautifully resonant music, at times bright and at times more introspective, led by conductor and violinist Andres Kaljuste. The programme features music by the renowned Estonian composer Heino Eller, as well as works close to his musical language and spirit. For the first time, Kaljuste’s own arrangements of Eller’s pieces for solo violin and orchestra will be performed on stage.
